Shaykh Samir Ubeid
Shaykh Samir Ubeid was born in Syria and educated in Syria and Qum, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic studies from Al-Mustafa University (Iran) and studied his postgraduate studies (Bahth Kharij) under 9 scholars and mujtahids.
Shaykh Samir has lectured at many Islamic Institutes in Damascus as an undergraduate and postgraduate lecturer for about 13 years and worked as a full time lecturer in Imam Khumeini Hawza in Damascus for 10 years prior to his role of teaching at IIPS.
Shaykh Samir has penned a number of publications, including History of Quran, Life of Zahra', Usool al-Fiqh, Sciences of Hadith, Applied Hadith Science, Review of the Quranic Verses Rules, Intentional Fiqh, Imam Ali'Life, As-salaat Miraaj Al-Mu'min and some other works and book revisions.
Shaykh Samir is a planner and teacher of a number of subjects at IIPS such as Fiqh, Usool and Hadith and Quran Tafseer.
Shaykh Ali Hussein Al-Kawway
Shaykh Ali Hussein Al-Kawway was born in Saudi Arabia and educated in Iran and Damascus University, obtaining his Hawza degrees from Iran as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic Language and literature from Damascus University.
Shaykh Ali lectured and worked at a number of Islamic Institutes in Iran and Syria since 1988. He taught Fiqh, Logic, Usool, Nahjul-Balaagha, Arabic grammar and Arabic Morphology.
Shaykh Ali wrote some works in Arabic Literature such as Studies in Arabic Literatures (3 Vols), Arabic short stories, and some other works in Arabic poetry and khitaba.
Shaykh Ali is now a teacher of Arabic Grammar and Morphology at IIPS.
Sayyid Barbar
Shaykh Barbar was born and educated in Syria. He obtained his bachelor degree in Fiqh and Usool from Azad University (in Imam Khumeini Hawza, Damascus) after he obtained his diploma in Agriculture from Damascus University. Now he is attending his Dars Kharij.
Shaykh Barbar lectured and worked for Imam Khumeini Hawza in Damascus in addition to tableegh.
He is now teaching Logic and Islamic Theology at IIPS.
Shaykh Firas Shibly
Shaykh Firas was born and educated in Syria, obtaining his Islamic Hawza degrees from Sayyida Zainab Howza.
Shaykh Firas lectured and worked for Imam Jawad Hawza and Al-Qa'im Hawza in Damascus. He is also a prominent speaker (khateeb) and preacher.
He is now a teacher of Aklaaq (Islamic Ethics) in IIPS as well as leading Thursday 'taribiya' and 'khitaba' program.
Sayyid Usaama Sundooq
Sayyid Usaama was born and educated in Syria, obtaining his licence of Tajwid from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and from the Quranic recitor Khalil Hiba in addition to his BSc in Agriculture from Damascus University.
He taught Tajwid and Quranic sciences in the Islamic College in Damascus, Imam Khumeini Hawza and the Iranian Cultural Council.
He is now a teacher of Tajwid at IIPS.
Mrs. Safiya M. Noori
Mrs. Safiya was born in Iraq and educated in Syria. She is a graduate from Haideriyyia Hawza in Sayyida Zaynab area. She then pursued her advanced Quranic studies in the same Hawza.
Mrs. Safiya taught and worked at Imam Khumeini Hawza and other institutes for 7 years. She worked also as a member of Quranic referees committee in the Iranian Cultural Council.
She is the female Quranic teacher at IIPS.
